MONTEFALCO ROSSO DOC
Born from a blend of Sangiovese (70%), Sagrantino (20%) and Merlot (10%), expressing a perfect balance between freshness, structure and softness. Ruby in color, it presents a bouquet of ripe berries with delicate spicy accents. On the palate it is pleasantly fresh, with rounded tannins and a good persistence. Ideal to accompany tasty soups, first courses with ragù, mature cheeses and grilled meats. With a potential of aging of 5-8 years, it should be served at 16-18 °C. A versatile wine, perfect for any occasion.

HARVEST TIME
Manual harvest of the bunches in September for Sangiovese and Merlot, in the first ten days of October for Sagrantino
VINIFICATION
Vinification at controlled temperature with maceration on the skins for 10-15 days
REFINEMENT
Aged for 12 months in steel barrels for Sangiovese and Merlot and in wooden barrels for Sagrantino. Subsequent maturation in bottle for 6 months.

Ruby red.

Aroma of ripe berries in alcohol with spicy notes.

Good structure and freshness with a round tannin
