CLIMATE AND HARVEST
The vintage was characterized by a mild and fairly dry winter, followed by a spring with above-average temperatures. Then, there was a return of winter that brought decidedly low temperatures. May and June saw frequent and abundant rainfall, providing excellent water reserves that allowed the vines to withstand the summer heat. Temperatures this season were high, especially in July. At the end of August, however, there was a clear climate change, with a drop in average temperatures and the beginning of a period that was generally cool and humid. In conclusion, the harvest was slightly late and the dry climate at the end of September allowed us to harvest healthy, perfectly ripe and very balanced grapes.
