CLIMATE AND HARVEST
The vintage started slowly due to a fairly dry winter season until mid-March. Abundant rains in April and May, with rather cold temperatures for the period, brought a notable accumulation of water in the soil, effectively compensating for the scarce winter rainfall. The hottest period of the season was recorded at the end of June, followed by days of drought, but without heat peaks, until mid-August. In September there were sporadic storms that were able to rebalance the ripening of the grapes. Optimal harvest (started slightly late for Sagrantino and Trebbiano Spoletino).
